The Gathering Gloom

The work below was created for The Gathering Gloom, an impressive DC-based live tribute to The Cure. Full disclosure, this band is fronted by my brother Matt who recently asked if I could make a t-shirt for their merch table. This quickly escalated from merch to physical flyers, to post templates, to on-stage background animations, all the way to a stack of bumper stickers that just arrived last week and will be for sale at upcoming shows.
Long portfolio story short: Yes, I can design a t-shirt. But you may have to be prepared for a 20 page deck, brand guidelines, and to hear my unprompted thoughts on an "elevated sad person aesthetic".
